Great thoughts Tom. First of, I am sure they make money. It’s a business they’re running afterall! To your points about reading BS — lol I hear you! That being said their pubs like Elemental are extremely popular right now amidst the pandemic and we also have the coronavirus tab on the top! I for one don’t want to read health advice from random pubs. There’s too much noise anyway everywhere you look. This will be an interesting time for Medium, I wonder if with everyone inundated with press and free media (so many newspapers etc are offering some free quality content) that now it may be even harder to convince people to pay $5 for Medium. They’d rather have a free meditation! I’m curious to see how Medium rides this wave….what changes….80 percent of articles on my home feed have to do with Covid-19 and it’s making me read less than I usually do and I’m a member!
