Totally agree Darius. “These days, I think it’s pathetic to be part of a group so you can be cool. It’s all signaling and a cry for acceptance.” I see this happening all the time even in the adult world of startups. It’s extremely immature. But sadly not everyone in the world is dedicated to self improvement or fulfillment. I wonder what you think of many motivation coaches. Sometimes I feel like one should take their lessons and move on. Constantly engaging in their social media and events is a group/cult of sorts too. Far too many people are entering that space making people believe they are finding themselves when really they’re just getting lost in a crowd only to return to their dissatisfied lives.
